Workaround / New

  1. Alerts (modifying)
    • Existing alerts that are modified by users are taking longer than expected to change on the alert details page in production.
    • Alerts now have a "link out option" to allow alerts to go directly to an internal or external page if necssary.  Please note: You will still need to make sure that your page you point to is already published and live on production before doing the alert link out option (since alerts does not follow content deployment schedules)
    • Updated directions: https://training.pa.egov.com/Enterprise-Features/Pages/Alerts.aspx (see number 8)
    • We are aware of the delay in alerts and working on an ultimate solution

Alert - Popular Feature

Good Afternoon,

We have found a bug related to when you hover over the filters of the popular feature (it will appear white on white). We are working on a resolution and we hope to have it deployed next Thursday (11/14).

Also, there seems to be a conflict with color themes and popular feature.  If you turn on the popular feature and notice that the 7 days filter is blank and the lines to the right of each of the pages is black, you may need to reselect your color theme.  This should fix the problem.

If you find any other problems, please report them to the service desk (pahelp@egov.com).

Thank you for your patience!

Good Afternoon,

We have believed to have fixed the popular feature.  If you see any other issues, please submit a response to the service desk (pahelp@egov.com).

SharePoint Notification

Good Morning,

It has come to our attention that some of the banner images being used across the websites are very large (some over 1MB).  This is causing some website to load very slowly.

We suggest reviewing the size of each banner image and reducing to around 350KB or less, if possible.

There are plenty of free tools to help reduce the size, however, we recommend ShortPixel.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the PAI Service Desk.
